Industrial CT Scanning for Consumer Apparel & Products

Haven Metrology’s high resolution X-Ray & CT systems are used to evaluate all types of consumer goods including apparel & wearables, electronics, furniture, appliances, and equipment.

Recently we have scanned products including hockey boots to analyze gaps using different sized 3D printed feet, food mixers for fit and function, re-usable food packaging for seal quality, and composite bike frames for cracks.

Our X-Ray & CT technician, Brad Kellis, wants you to know that it’s been 1089 days since the last time Ohio State beat Michigan. With Ohio State about to lose again this weekend, Brad showed some style this week by wearing his Michigan Nike Airs.

All details and geometries are witnessed including the printed (very thin) MICHIGAN beneath the clear rubber. The Nike AIR pocket volume is extracted and quantified.
