This red colored casting supports an entire turbopump assembly. Now, imagine that it fractures due to significant porosity.
DR & CT, two non-destructive testing methods, give unparalleled access to products. Combining the power of the world’s premier hardwares and softwares, we provide insight into the inside of the the most basic to most complex and critical components. Our clients and work are everywhere – from art exhibits to outer space.
We work for some of the most demanding industries like:
rocketry & satellites, defense & armaments, aerospace & aviation, automotive development, nuclear & energy, EV & consumer batteries, additive manufacturing, and medical implants and plastics
Our certifications and qualified staff will ensure you’ve never done better than with Haven Metrology.
1-122um resolution
50-450um resolution
Visual solutions like videos and images allow our clients to see the progression of cracks and porosity throughout a part. This helps complete a picture that a single image cannot provide.
We can image everything from rubber gaskets to high density superalloys like inconel for dimension and defect analysis.
High resolution digital radiography allows us to perform several types of analysis to detect many failures. With system resolution between 1 and 450 microns, we can detect nearly any defect.
With our library of gauges including reference images, IQIs, scaling artifacts, and line pairs, we can meet the most demanding requirements.
Our clients have long been frustrated by the inability to measure internal geometry without modifying the part. Using advanced techniques we are able to measure parts that are larger than our system’s measurement volume. Water tight, “perfect” profile data of otherwise inaccessible geometry is not only possible, but traceable and with a documented certainty.
We’ve completed over 500 first article & dimensional layouts using CT.
Common applications for RT & CT analysis versus other measurement devices include clearance and interference, gap analysis, material thickness, sealed or potted component inspection, dimensional requirements under load, foreign object detection, cracks and porosity, weld and braze profiles, additively manufactured geometry, and more.
